About the Role:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Controller with managing the financial operations of the company. They are responsible for ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date. This includes assisting with financial reports, analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and laws, and maintaining compliance with the Group financial regulations.

About the Role:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Controller with managing the financial operations of the company. They are responsible for ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date. This includes assisting with financial reports, analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and laws, and maintaining compliance with the Group financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing financial reports and statements.
- Assisting with the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Preparing monthly trial balances of accounts in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing, monitoring, and managing budgets and cash flow. (cash forecast)
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Recording financial transactions into the accounting system, including sales, expenses, payroll and other relevant data.
- Matching bank statements to internal records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy of accounts.
- Maintaining and adhering to internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identifying cost saving opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, laws, and Group financial regulations.
- Collaborating with Controller and AP/AR, Billing Specialist
- Coordinating and leading audits and dealing with external auditors.
- Monitoring of the Internal Control System (ICS) as per Group recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting or equivalent.
- Experience in financial management, including experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of financial, fiscal laws, and regulations, as well as a good understanding of accounting principles, financial and analytical techniques.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in ERP (SAP B1) and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
- Ideally having worked in companies with American and European mentality.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Colorado due to the nature of the role requiring frequent on-site presence and/or rapid response times.
- Working daily onsite at Muller Technology CO, Inc. with an expectation of no less than 40 hours worked weekly.
