An HR Generalist manages daily human resources operations, covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. They act as the primary point of contact for employees, implementing company policies, maintaining records, and supporting performance management to foster a positive, legally compliant workplace.

About the Role:
An HR Generalist manages daily human resources operations, covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. They act as the primary point of contact for employees, implementing company policies, maintaining records, and supporting performance management to foster a positive, legally compliant workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Perform necessary functions to coordinate all Human Resource activities
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll
- Manage all employee benefits (including health insurance and 401K)
- Manage the recruiting process, assisting department supervisors and managers
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee files
- Formulate and update policies and procedures as requested by management
- Compliance and law management
- Part-time position averaging 20 – 25 hours per week
- 3+ years of relevant experience in all HR areas
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to effectively work with both employees and management
- Excellent organization skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to take on other tasks as needed
- Convey a professional and positive image and attitude towards employees, customers, vendors, and applicants
- Experience with Paylocity a plus
